Finally got to blog!
Started work last Monday, more of not used to coming home late everyday rather than having to wake up early actually. It's not exactly late.. I reach home at abt 8 plus if I manage to finish my stuffs fast enough. But I miss the times when I only need to spend three to four hrs at school before going home. :P
Work has been good. I'm occupied enough for time to pass by quickly. I hope I'll be this busy always. :D Sounds a little masochistic, but yeah. I don't really like to be idle with nothing to do. I'll get so restless.
Anyways, I think a lot of ppl still do not really understand what I am really working as, as well as what my division does. But I'm too lazy to explain here. :DD If you really want to know, pls ask me when you see me in person k?
Anyanyway, my colleagues and superiors are really nice and funny!
Ok, that's all I'm in the mood to blog now. I shld have photos to blog, but have not met Jiahong online yet....

Movies!
Why does it always happen so that I can pass 4 or 5 mths without watching a single movie and suddenly watch 2 movies in a single week? Y'all know that I went to watch Pursuit of Happyness past Mon. On Wednesday, I watched Music and Lyrics with Jane.
No matter how sua gu this sounds, I visited The Cathay for the first time on Wednesday. Discovered a completely lovable shop there. They had all these cute notebooks, photoalbums and what nots. You can imagine how I much love that shop seeing that I love shops like Prints and AnBC. =))
Anyways, Music and Lyrics was better than I expected. Hugh Grant, a confirm lao eng gee was very very funny. His sarcastic remarks, and the stupid dance moves. They make me giggle everytime I see them. You really have to catch the movie to know what I'm talking abt. And Drew Barrymore's soo pretty. And she was her typical blurr character, which was actually the main reason I didn't want to watch the movie. But... as you can see, I enjoyed it.

Went to watch Pursuit of Happyness yesterday with Karen and Ginnette.
It was a very very good show. A must watch! Don't know why Ben didn't like it. It's not really a feel-good story, cos the show's sad 80% of the time. But it is inspiring, and it explains why some ppl slog so hard at work. I think as Singaporeans we complain too much abt work that we don't really appreciate what work gives us and we don't realise that we have to enjoy work cos it's what that occupies 45hrs of our time every week.
And jaden smith was just soo cute!
Anyways, the good night was marred by the horrible service of Wheelock's Fish&Co. Not ever going back there again. We spent more than 35% of our time waiting. Waiting for the ice water, the extra sppon, the dessert, the bill.... In short, horrible service.

Have been going to town the past few days continuously, the transport costs are so high!
Went to orchard on Thurs to buy my niece's birthday present. I serioosly cannot shop at AnBC. I feel like buying almost everything there! Anyways, cos my niece is 8, we decided to buy her 8 items. So we bought mechanical pencil, notebook, stickers and so on. Pink and purple, cutesy stuffs that an 8 yr old would love. After seeing all those things, I couldn't help wanting to be 8 again. =))
Went to sign the contract for my job on Friday. Had to do a medical checkup too.
Saturday was a long day. Went for band prac in the mrng, then home. Then out again to my niece's birthday party, which coincidentally was at Jialin's condo. We took lots of photos.. Can't wait to see them! The food was bad, the cake was good. Went down to vivocity after that. Shopped, then to sakae for dinner. Had several hilarious moments then. We sat chatting till 9plus when we left in search on ben&jerry's :D Love hanging with my cuzzies!
Sunday was even longer than Sat. Woke up at 630 in the mrng for church. Then went to meet my cousin in Orchard to buy her stuffs. Then my sis came, and we waited for my mum. Shopped again. Bought shoes for work. My cousin was the biggest spender that day. Hahs. Anyway, dislike March. Cos of allll the birthdays taking place. 4 in all. And have to splurge on all 4. :( Then my dad came and we went to Sun with Moon at Wheelock! The food's superb! First time i ate sushi that costs $5 each! Haha. But it was very very good. I was so tired I slpt at 11 that night. :DD

Men are such contradictory creatures. Just a few days ago I was fretting over this job searching period of my life and so afraid that I won't be able to get a job. But now that I hv one, I dread going to work. Keep wondering if I will match up to their expectations, if I can perform up to task. Still do not know why they hired me. Starting work next week. Most prob on Tuesday.
FYI, I'll be working at suntec convention and exhibition centre as a proj coordinator. Don't ask me what my duties are 'cos I'm also not v sure. =P
Anyways, this is my good news from the previous entry.
BUT, seriously thank God for this. I actually got a job on my first interview. =DDD

I'm bored. Only after a week of hols, I'm bored already. Is it a good sign? At least it shows that I'm not a slacker. =)

What's up with the use of "label" in blogs and the word random nowadays?
Here's a typical conversation between 2 old ladies who meet each other on the streets. (in Hokkien/Mandarin and a near shout)

Ah ma B: Huh?

B: Oh, going to my daughter's place
A: Going to?
B: My daughter's place
A: Huh?

See how they manage to repeat sth 5 times in one conversation? =D
